It's not bad enough they have to dumb us down in the evening news with meaningless seven-second quips; now they have to incorporate the politics of the sounbite into actual legislation? (Oh wait, that's been happening for years now.) How Springer-esque... I had to work late last night, so I actually caught some audio of this on NPR around 6 p.m.
