This post by Charles on Young Philly Politics is really quite timely. I have a feeling we’ll be talking quite a bit about ward leaders in the coming months. Charles’ straightforward discussion of the topic is a good starting point. Go have a peak.

One Response to “So What is a Ward Leader?”

  1. Rep. Mark B. Cohen Says:

I agree that Charles (charlesdog12) has written a really insightful article on the Young Philly politics blog. People ought to get to know their Democratic committeeman and wardleaders, and share them them their views of Philadelphia’s future. In many places, there will be vacancies for Democratic committee positions, to be filled by voters in the 2006 primary among those who have filed nominating petitions containing 10 or more valid signature’s from each election division’s voters, and letting your wardleader know of your interest may well lead to his or her’s support of you for one of these positions.
