					<description>There's nothing wrong with a retributive rationale for capital punishment so long as the convict is truly guilty of cold-blooded, 1st degree murder. Of course, the problem is that our government can't be trusted to mete out justice. If there is a chance that a single innocent would be sent to his death, then that is one person too many. I see nothing wrong with the death penalty in a perfect world---yes, yes, in a perfect world there would be no murder and death anyway---but I do recognize that our government is incapable administering justice without corruption. Therefore, I do not support the death penalty at the polls.
