Oh, My

Sitting at home for the last few days has been something of a crash course in just how disgusting all, and I do mean all, of the 24 hour news networks have become. Perhaps it was always so and I’ve just been too busy to notice. I’ve met drunken frat boys, giggling at the sound of their own farts who were more dignified than the morbid squaller of high pitched hysteria and chest thumping that passes for televised news on these stations. Totaly revolting. This topic is discussed at length, and with more eloquence than I ever could, on nearly every political or news blog out there, but seeing it for myself for the first time in years is something of a shock to the system. I need a drink.

    “I need a drink.”

Geez, you’re on vacation AND you’re sitting around watching cable news?! Pretty wicked combination. I hope the Foodery is stocked up on your favorites!

OK, so let me get this straight. I’m here, at work, headset glued to my ears, dreaming of vacation, and you’re at home watching all Terri, all the time on the news? You really are a glutton for punishment.

Sad life - I know. A real vacation somewhere warm, featuring many attractive young women (and my young attractive wife, of course) would be great, but sometimes I need to rediscover my inner-unemployed bum. I just went to the Foodery and they are, as always, well stocked. I’m feeling much better now - or beginning to I should say.

Yes I am. On that note, I’m going to a candidates forum later this evening. That should be a thrill, right? You should meet me there Melissa. Get your feet wet. You’ll love it! Get the old campaign juices flowing. Big fun! Really! Maybe we can pick up some bumper stickers or buttons or something.

You have GOT to get out more!
